Welcome to the Show, and to the Tampa Theatre’s new online ticketing page.
Here you can buy tickets for pick up at Will Call prior to the show. Some shows allow you to print your tickets at home, or send them to your mobile device.
Also, Tampa Theatre Members will soon be able to access their membership discounts here as well (but we’re not quite there yet -- check back soon)!
Anna (Agata Trzebokowska) is an 18-year-old novitiate nun who was raised as an orphan in a Polish convent. As she prepares to take her vows, Mother Superior insists that she first meet her one known relative: Aunt Wanda (Agneta Kulesza), a former prosecutor with a high Communist Party rank whose dissolute life of smoking, drinking and one-night stands is a stark contrast to the austere existence of her sheltered niece.
But Anna has more to be shocked about when Wanda tells her that her real name is Ida (pronounced Eeda), that she is Jewish, and that her parents were killed during World War II. The revelation triggers a journey for aunt and niece to discover their family's tragic story, and - in the process - to see who they really are and where they belong.
