Get the Led Out 2017
From the bombastic and epic to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out (GTLO) captures the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brings it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran who are passionate about their love of the music of Led Zeppelin. It's been their mission to bring the studio recordings of "the mighty Zep" to life on the big concert stage. This is not an impersonator act but rather a group of musicians who were fans first, striving to do justice to one of the greatest bands in rock history!
The 2+ hour set spans the career of the legendary British super group, with a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom, if ever, heard in concert and include a special “acoustic set” with Zep favorites such as “The Battle of Evermore” performed in their original instrumentation with guest singer Diana DeSantis. Their approach to performing this hallowed catalogue is not unlike a classical performance. "Led Zeppelin are sort of the classical composers of the rock era," says lead vocalist Paul Sinclair. "I believe that 100 years from now, they will be looked at as the Bach or Beethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds, their music is timeless."
